To get the E10's fantastic sound, position the SONY E10 drivers so that
they are angled outwards as much as possible (similar to the
angle of the drivers on the Sennheiser headband bud PX10).
They should be facing away from the ear canal as much as possible, the
LOOSER the seal the better. This is the opposite of a plug type bud
where the tighter the seal the better.
When positioned this way the E10's will have an open headstage and
an extended clear frequency response. If you do the opposite and
angle the E10 buds towards and closing the ear canal they will sound
muffled.
