Hi, 
 
Will this Sony MDR-1R works fine with Galaxy S3 in all aspects with the cable provided with this headphone pair?
Like the microphone and jack 3.5 mm
 
And would this work with laptop also via cable for taking conf calls etc?
 
I ask all these as the specs says the cable is compatible with Apple products only and the customer service guy from Sony is also not sure if this works with any other product.
 
 
Your response would help me decide whether to this headphone or not.

Thanks for the link. I had browsed that link earlier but I asked specifically just to be sure the guy had posted "it works for galaxy s3" is for MDR-1R only
