Hey people!! Just a question, apart from the noise-cancelling feature on the MDR-1RNC, are there any other differences between the 1R and the 1RNC? In Singapore, the price difference is about 170USD, the 1RNC being the more expensive one.

The NC sounds different compared to normal 1R, also with nc off. Go read at innerfidelity.

Short answer NO! They all sounds different. (I personally heard only the MDR-1R so far and was impressed. Especially in the comfort area. I would choose the PSB M4U1 though....)

Hi,

treble are the high frequencies, bass are the low frequencies of sounds.

You can equalize them , means get more in or remove them from the sound to certain degree.

Cheers,
k
