I have had my Sony MDR-1000X wireless headphones for nearly 3 years but when I tried to switch them on a few days ago they wouldn’t switch on. I thought maybe the battery needed charged so I connected them to the charger and charged them.
A few hours passed and the red charging light was still on. I thought it was strange because surely by a few hours they would of been partly if not fully charged. I disconnected the charging cable and I then tried to switch them on and I still got the same problem the headphone still won’t switch on.
I have tried resetting them as advised by Sony but still they will not switch on. I was thinking maybe it’s sweat as I use them every day when going out walking into town as I have a problem with excess sweat. Maybe my sweat as finally corroded the battery. Please advise.
