One of my two MDR-D77's has developed a short or something. The right side has gone dead. How do I go about getting them repaired? I live in Ohio. Where's the Sony repair facility?

Do these Sonys have a one sided cord coming from the left earpiece? If so, it's either a snag in the wire somewhere at the hinge for the right piece, or it's a lose connection with the right driver.

Since you've got nothing to lose, how about trying some headphone surgery? First look at the right driver to see if one of the wires broke off. If not that....then unfortunately it would be one of the wires snaking in the headband. Radioshack sells a good, small gauge insulated wire that you could use to replace a snaged wire.
