i finally got to the sonystore and couldnt resist. i bought an hd5 w/2 yr warranty.
when i first got some music on it, i remember being able to tap > or < and it would fast forward or rewind instantly. to change the tracks i had to hit ^ or V then Play. now... 15 album transfers later- the < and > controls operate like a CD player (press and hold to ff or rw). And when i hit ^ or V, it goes directly to the next track without having to press play.
how do i get it back to the old mode!? i looked in the manual no luck. all ive got are regular mp3s.
any help would be appreciated, thanks
