I just noticed that audiocubes has the new Sony EX71's. Has anyone compared them to the EX70. I personally love the EX70's for the gym (great isolation). Are the EX71's worth the upgrade?

I just received my EX71's. They're not bad, but I can't compare them to the 70's, as I've never listened to them.
The 71's isolate just fine for me, but the short cord is too short by itself. Adding the extension makes it quite long, but then there's extra weight at the connection point, and it makes jogging a little awkward (the added weight at the juncture slowly yanks the plugs out of my ears).
Overall, though, I'm fairly pleased. The bass isn't overwhelming (as people have complained about the EX70's). The highs can be a little much, though, and they tire my ears out after a couple of hours. Could be because the phones (or my ears, depending what you believe about burn in) haven't burned in yet.
