Recently I want to buy a new headphone.finally I want to choose one from 888 and em7,none of which I head before,but i saw a lot of articles about them,it sounds that 888 have a short life,it is easy to get ruin.

I have a sony cd walkman which modle is DEJ725,and a mp3 player-iriver 590T,in the doom. I use px100 or mx500,but I found px100 is not so convenience in the open air.

so which one is better?

It would make more sense to compare the 888 to say, the CM-5, but the EM-7 is better than the 888 as far as I know.

IMO, the EM7 is better as far as sound, but they didn't fit my ears to well. But they are built pretty solid as opposed to my e888's which i feel are going to break soon.

Its really a trade off. One does somethings better than the other and vice versa.
