Hi all !
Because of you guys i got totally hooked on these old sony discman. Recently I went on a shopping rampage at Ebay and was really successfull: now I am the proud owner of a D-99, D-100, D-150 and D-250. To accompany this I also bought an
Beyerdynamic DT250-80 which is yet to arrive.
So, if anyone got any questions regarding these fine pieces
of portable history

- just throw them at me.

BTW - is there anybody out there who knows where to get the BP-2EX battery in GERMANY ?!

so far my hunt for that didn't get me anywhere.

p.s.: I'm seriously thinking about buying another one - a D-303 just surfaced at Ebay. Oh boy, I'm bound for trouble I guess...

This is what I found out so far:

as of thursday, jan. 17th the battery pack 2 EX is not available
anymore in Germany. This came from an official Sony-support-
partner per email today.

I don't know about the US, it's still on the sony site and available
at amazon UK as well - which of course don't deliver to Germany.
Oh well, seems that I'm 4 days late - can't believe it.

I'm trying everything to get my hands on some new batteries,
any help is of course welcome.

Too bad, your link is no good.

I was on that site before, but now I used that live-chat-feature
to talk to someone. Hmmm, it probably was a chat-bot anyways.
They say they don't/can't deliver to Germany.

I contacted several stores in Germany and Sony Europe, too.
Seems that I have to wait and see.
Maybe I'll send a mail to that dialabattery-place...

Right now i'm listening to my D-25 for the first time and WOW,
this thing kicks major butt.
