I have Sony D-66 coming my way in a few days.

It looks to be in very good shape but without batteries or power supply.

Does anyone know what kind of batteries it uses? Can I use it with regular AA without a special converter? I am guessing I can get a power supply for it since it should be a standard AC/DC wall wart, no?

Yes, it is. I seen this site, but I don't trust it. Another thread states that you cannot use AA batteries.

I use a a double a battery adapter that came with my D-9 a couple of years ago. So you actually can use AA batteries with it. You just need a AA battery adapter thats all.
