I have heard good things about both of these old players, but has anyone compared them? Was the D-303 a flagship model at the time like the D-25? Also, what kind of batteries do the D-303 use, battery life? I like the fact that there is a optical out on the D-303, but consider the overall sound quality more important. Can anyone comment on the sound of both players as well as what kind of headphones each can drive (already know that the D-25 is pretty good at both)? Thanks for any input.
