I have a Sony D-250 discman and it looks identical to the D-25s except it is black in colour. Is it the same as the D-25s?

However the problem is it doesn't work. I have the original AC adaptor and when plugged in, it just spins (quite loudly) with no track in the display.I wonder if Sony still have the parts for it if i sent it for repairs. Or does anyone knows what the prob is? Sony charges exorbitant prices for repairs.

Or does anyone wants a spoilt d-250 with the original adaptor?

I'm pretty sure the D-250 is the same thing as the D-25 (which is also black). They are identical to the D-25S, except for the color.

It looks like models from that era had an extra "0" on them in the Asian markets. So D-25 in the U.S. was D-250 in Asia, and D-9 in the U.S. was D-90 in Asia.
