Feel free to hate me! After buying a Sony D-35 for $10, I have done even better and bought a D-211 for $4. The problem is... it doesn't work. It does what other people have written about: spins up (motors are fine), but doesn't read the disc and eventually gives up and powers down.
I'm wondering if someone here can replace the laser and or otherwise fix it? I'll pay for parts and labor - really just want to get it working since I've heard such great things about it and I LOVE my D-35.
