I just ordered a pair of Sony MH750 on eBay for a total of $3.73, will update on whether it's genuine or not. Seems like they probably are since it's a small seller and a reverse image search yielded nothing. Can someone share some good cables at around $5 to re-cable my old pair of MH750, as the cable has started to wear?

For those that have glued their 750s back together, what did you use? Mine have come loose enough that glue is warranted but I don't want to use anything that's permanent or will damage the plastic.
Silicone?

I find T-8000 glue suitable for such use. It's transparent, elastic, and easy to remove. For those that have glued their 750s back together, what did you use? Mine have come loose enough that glue is warranted but I don't want to use anything that's permanent or will damage the plastic.

Hello folks
I registered here on head-fi.org just to thank you all of you, who share knowledge about Sony MH755 IEMs. After reading almost all posts here in thread, I decided to buy a little used "Sony SBH24 Stereo Bluetooth Headset", which contains the original MH755s. I listened to three A.M. last night . I am not afraid to say - eargasm . Stunning thing to buy for a few euros.
So far, the best equip. I've had at home are Yamaha HPH-MT220 (headphones) and Soundmagic E10C -(IEM). But this budget Sony miracle will probably entertain me for a long time.
My rig is a laptop-> external sound card Asus Xonar U5 (better) or Iphone SE 2016 (worse, but still decent) + Tidal.
Have a nice time.

@Jogim thanks for the tip on authentic black MH750 from Handyakku4You on amazon.de . Just received my set via a family member in Germany.
My point of reference is authentic, white MH755 that came bundled with new SBH56.
- tips are identical (except color).
- sound is very similar, with MH750 having fuller mids but less subbass.
By the way, MH755 goes great with Qudelix 5K due to short cable.

I find aliexpress sells MDR-EX155, MDR-EX255, IER-H500A, MDR-EX650 very cheaply. They're all 9 or 12 mm drivers. Yet they are not fakes. So how come they're so cheap? I know that MDR-EX650 has flaws in its housing flaking and rusting. Back in July 17, 2019, Sony announced that the USB Type-C (TM) stereo headset STH50C will be released on August 3. This one has a 24/192 DAC (probs not Sony ’s though!) Will a standalone DAC with S-Master be released? There used to be powered headphones (tiny space for PCB!) with S-Master integrated!
I have the MH410c from Xperia XA, but obviously its sound quality isn't comparable to my others. Any tricks for it?

@Barusu Lamperouge Mate, it's hard to tell from Labeling, counterfeits have copied legit labels too..the sure thing is the shiny plastic used in the packing for the ear tips when buying without opening the shells for mfg 2017, MH750s and from my experiences, the mfg 2017, I own, are only coming in BlackHello, I need a small help from the community, I'm getting a MH750 which has following details -

Anyway just go ahead and buy, if they are fakes, get your full refund I always do, the only caveat is the wasted time waiting for it and writing in to claim your money back

The best Test is the soundtest. The originals sound great out of the box, all fake ones sound horrible right from the start.Hello, I need a small help from the community, I'm getting a MH750 which has following details -

I guess you are right. These are in black as well. I guess I'll purchase and check the packing of eartips. So if I'm reading it correctly then the genuine ones will come in shiny plastic packaging, right?@Barusu Lamperouge Mate, it's hard to tell from Labeling, counterfeits have copied legit labels too..the sure thing is the shiny plastic used in the packing for the ear tips when buying without opening the shells for mfg 2017, MH750s and from my experiences, the mfg 2017, I own, are only coming in Black
