Oh this is perfect. My pair had just been sitting around because the cable is too short to use and I was getting intimidated and confused looking up Youtube videos on how to solder a new cable but if I can just order this extension then that's perfect, might even take them to use on the train.
Glad to hear..a waste if you didn't use it due to the limitations of the cable, beautiful iem :)

Unfortunately, can't say I'm blown away by the pair of red MH750 that I got from that Shopee seller (Bang Bang store?). Sounded pretty meh, imo...songs that I'm familiar with sounded pretty off and there was a 'shouty' quality that I couldn't quite place.

I might've gotten a lemon, though, so I dunno...
@fonkepala thorough A/B testing with an assortment of Black/White MH750/755s and the firm conclusion for the Red MH750 is that its definitely authentic

What DAP or Devices are you using for playback?

Ya bro, I don't doubt that it's an authentic red M750, it's just that I feel really underwhelmed by its sound. I haven't the time to A/B it against my early black MH750, but perhaps sometime soon I will.

For playback, I'm using FLACs on my PC > iFi Zen DAC/Mojo/Stoner Acoustics UD130

Be aware that there are different versions/tunings of the MH750. So you’re old black one may very well sound different to your red one

Looking familiar? Exactly the same batch as mine. I didn't have chance to open them yet as I have few nice sounding older mh750's :) I ordered these three from some UK ebay seller. Unfortunately, in the last 1-2 months, since I bought my stack, this guy raise the price 3 times (they are now about 18£)...

Well, even at the price I paid for it (around 15 usd) it was definitely worth it. Although I have to use eq to tame the 3,5k and 7k peak (also boost high shelf boost 10k+ while I am at it). Will post my thoughts on the discovery thread soon. As with EQ this is ridiculously good.

Guys, anything noteworthy about this pair? Maybe side vent driver or something? @brianforever

MFG 2016 impossible to get a side vented driver as they were only available with the MH750/755 circa 2013/4 , and side vent drivers are overrated, time will tell that the center vent drivers are better, all rounded, less fatiguing and has a little more needed bass
