Can anyone give me some hints/tips on changing the earpads on a Sony 7506 / MDR-V6 please?

I plan to order the Beyerdynamic DT-250 pads.

Do a forum search . . . the procedure has been outlined in the past . . . someone also had pictures of changing them too.

i thought it mite be that one.......it just doesnt really have pics of actually changing the pads.....i kno that jude did put up a lot of pics of the actual pads tho....

Just pull (gently) the stock out of its grip and it'll come right out. From there, peel (very gently) the foam pad (which is glued) off of the stock pad. Then place the foam pad over the earpiece and then fit the beyer pad from one side (i got it on from the top then around clockwise) and stretch it on around the rest of the cup (its a bit of a bitch with the foam pad being loose). I also used a nailclipper (one of the small hooks) to push the pad into place. Good luck!

as a part-time dj, i use the sony mdr-v700dj ... if i can use the Beyerdynamic pad on it. to make it more comfortable/

It isn't all that hard, especially if you have nimble fingers (mine are more of the 'butter' variety and I managed OK)

nope, no beyer pads for that model of sony... maybe you could sell it and get the MDR-V6s
