Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a speaker solution for listening to Spotify & iTunes playlists for dinner parties. Which would you suggest for a open living room/dining room/kitchen space? Are the A5+'s too direct, or will they provide "room-filling" sound?

Regarding the Sonos, would you suggest 2 Play 1's linked for stereo, or a Play 3 or 5 by itself?

I'm open to any other suggestions you think might be a better solution as well.

Thanks very much,
Greg

Placement of the A5+ speakers will have the most impact on whether or not they provide room filling sound.

Sorry. I dont' know anything about the Sonos.

Monoprice 8" studio monitors, $255.
I'm assuming they are made at the same factory as the M-Audio BX8 studio monitors.
