I have a meta 42 and for some reason I hear some static noise or distortion coming out of my headphones. When I set my volume to half, the noise is not audible. It only happens when it is set at max or 3/4 of the way. Is my meta 42 denoting the weakness in the sonica theater? The reason I ask this is because when I plug my amp to my ipod, I don't hear this noise even at max volume. The noise problem happens also in my laptop sound even at 1/4 way. Could it be the cable?
In addition: I also have the super mini v4 and this does not happen through the sonica theater card but it does occur in my laptop. What could be the problem? Cable, meta42?
