Ok, this has been driving me crazy for over a week. Does anyone know (assuming it's not just a commercial jingle) who sings that song on the Target commercial?

Female vocals - "You say hello, I say goodbye" Background harmonies" "hello goodbye, hello goodbye... Hey la hey laaa" something like that

Did some searching and it's by Brian Robbins & Erin Alden from "A Beatles Tribute - Number One Again."

I'll have to give a listen when I get home... I did some searching on her and it doesn't look like she has an album just some songs here and there that she's done for other albums and with other artists.

they really butchered that song

I mentioned to my wife the first time i heard that commercial that there ought to be some kind of law against mangling old songs for commercials. IMHO it's loathesome. On a par with those awful applebee's ads.

Sounds like a butchered version of The Beatles' "Hello Goodbye" to me. I'm assuming you just don't know who did this particular rendition?

I'm not a Beatles fan (never have been) so I was not familiar with the song or the artist.
