hey guys whats THE BEST fm transmitter or anything else that lets u play ur mp3 in the car?

If you care about SQ, then don't use an FM transmitter. Buy a new head unit with USB or aux. input.

Unfortunately, if your car does not come with an AUX input you're going to have some problems. FM transmission is really bad in my experience -- I would use one of those tape deck players before I did that. Sadly, I've moved into a new car that is too new for a cassette player and about a year too old for standard aux input (2005).

My iPod gathers a lot of dust now, and I've been forced to make "car copies" of my cds. You can buy a lot of blank cds for 20 bucks. This has worked well for me. Good luck.

don't use the transmitter if you have the option. I agree with Qonmus, if you don't have an imput use the tape thing...those transmitters are really poor quality

That's why i made sure the car we got had an aux built-in. A Lexus ES350. Plug and play, really.
