SOMETHING TO COMPLIMENT MY HD 25's and 325is.

my source gear is a macbook pro and a apogee duet.

i use both with my ipod touch but the third does not have to. its will be driven by my duet. listen to all sorts. not selling my other stuff just want a new toy that will go with what i got.

been looking at dt 880"s and the k701/702.

maybe the senn 600/650 but loooking more at the other two.

any related advice welcome.

If you want dark and bassy, check out the Ultrasone HFI series. Good VFM, IMO, and bass that you wont forget in a hurry - some dont like S-Logic, but there is no accounting for taste.

(btw, I am very impressed with the way the 325is has settled down after a hundred hours or so - whether its just my ears adapting or whatever, I find them much easier with treble-heavy material now)
