I guess I am not the only one who gets mad over the hissing sound generated by those so-called Active Noise Reduction cans.
The fact is IEM cans take some time to install and remove from my ears. When you sit in your cubical, you really have a lot of chances to wear/unwear your headphone. So my question is can I get good noise reduction/sealing without the hassle of IEM? I don't know if closed cans like Senn HD280 can perform well enough in a noisy environment.
Please help me, my budget is <$100, ampless.

No your not alone I find the hiss anoying also. It almost seems like their is a ackward pressure on the ear. I have tried the HD 280 however im in a similar situation because im trying to pick between them and audio technica a500. however if your more concerned with isolation, the hd280 do a good job and run well ampless.
