So my ATH-M50 headphones were mysteriously thrown across the room and now I'm having trouble putting them back together. Here's an imgur album showing a few photos: http://imgur.com/a/gnkyJ
 
As you can see in the photos, the problem seems to be that I can't cram that wire back into the headphone itself (sorry, I don't know the correct terminology). I tried stuffing it in there but it looks like it's causing the wire to fray. Should I take it apart somehow? Should I keep trying to cram it in and hope none of the of the wires tear or short out?
 
I'd greatly appreciate any advice! I really love these headphones and I'm at a complete loss as to what I should do.

How about the sound? Still function?
May try to open the ear cup and see if it is possible to put the wire back into the cup.

Yep, the sound still works. Do you think there's a guide somewhere that explains how to open the cup? I don't see any obvious screws. Thanks!
