Happy/relaxed?

1. Used HD-600 and BH Crack w/ speedball - right up against $750.

2. Used HEX v2 for about $650 with a nice after market cable, and remember to use my digital EQ.

3. For a bit less gauze: buy HE-500 w/ aftermarket cable, do a few mods and use my digital EQ. $420.

Those are my 3 options.

I'd find a Focal Elear and use that with EQ on PC. In fact, it is what I was doing for a few months before I got the Stellia in early August. Elear is awesome when you use EQ to fix its stock tonality issues.

Aeon 2 closed. Great 4 home. Awesome for travel. Swiss Army knife in headphone world.

Denon AH-D7200. My current favorite headphone. Could get them new on eBay for that, but would probably buy used and get a nice balanced cable, assuming I'm allowed to keep my current amps / DACs.

If I only had one choice? Pre-Fazor LCD 2, no questions asked. I could live with just those headphones if I had to, they don't do as single genre badly.

"all your other cans dissappear" -> cry in a corner.

In that price range only the Sundara comes to mind. Even a LCD-2C costs 900€
If buying used is an option the Hifiman Edition X V2
