Are you sure about that model number? I've got the HFI-700 (which I like very much!) and another, the 650, which is generally well-regarded around here. Most people report that the 700 and 650 are similar, with the former having a bit more umph in the bass, the latter a bit more balanced.

They are both closed.

I was checking Dr. Meier's website (and, though he's a retailer of Ultrasones, he doesn't seem to carry it), not Ultrasone's website.

I have read/heard nothing about that model. Having said that, I have been impressed about Ultrasone's build quality, etc. (speaking generally, not with reference to that model).
