I am thinking of getting the W5000 as an upgrade/companion for my AD2000, and I have been hearing a lot about how it's very picky about its source and how you need to built your source around it to get its best. So, what type of amps counts as being worthy for the W5000 and what type of amps doesn't? A lot of power? Very low noise? Warm/cold? Bright/dark? What do you need to do to get the best from the W5000?

You may have to go outside the AT family to upgrade on your AD2000s. If you have your heart set on getting a closed set, I would opt for the D7000 over the W5000 in a heartbeat.... and like my signature says, I'm an AT fanboy for the most part.
