I liked my W5000 quite a bit before, but now I LOVE it!

Thanks for looking!

Instructions:
Need: A few pieces of cloth; polish and wax product of your choice(I used the ones for cars)

1) Take off your earcups(instructions for taking it off can be found by searching for Fitz W5000 mod)

2) Take a piece of cloth and wrap it around your index and middle finger and pour a generous amount of polishing compound to the cloth. Take the cloth and start rubbing the earcup in circles. Repeat until you can see a clear reflection of yourself on the earcup. (Note: Tried not to rub the letters too hard to avoid potentially taking off them off.)

3) Take another piece of cloth and wax your earcup.

4) Put the headphone back together.

5) Enjoy and post your pictures in the thread!

Won't waxing them, change the "porous-ness" of the wood and change the sound characteristics?

Nope, they are already lacquered with some matte finish from factory, there is no bare wood.
