C'mon now. I don't wanna be cruel or something, just there is soooo much info on these cans around. DT 831 are among the most talked closed cans and many people here have them (including me).
If you want a short answer, they're very good closed cans, clear and articulate, perhaps not the strongest bass around though. Not for portable use without an amp and IMO not the best looking ones either.
