I'm designing an amp using an LM4881 or TPA6111 it has a standby pin to turn the amp on and off. My problem is I can't work out how to use a LED to show on/off because the battery is permanently connected and so the LED will be on all the time. any ideas where/how to incorporate this feature would be much appreciated.

Use a DPDT switch, 1/2 the switch switches the LED on or off with the amp.

Thanks I didn't even consider a simple solution, now I feel really dumb
