Something I’ve been paying attention to the past few months, some of my headphones can cause a very faint ringing for a short period after using, but others don’t. I wondered if anyone else has noticed this disparity?

Of course I adjust the volume down to prevent this, I just find it interesting that at roughly the same volume different cans cause a different effect.

I have noticed this, could be related to certain sensitivities or maybe something about the sound of the headphone, it's not always related to a treble spike. Some peaky headphones don't cause any ringing to me whereas some neutral headphones with smooth treble can.
