Couple of questions about my newly acquired Grado RS-1s. Firstly, I am using C-pad bowls and I was wondering are the headphones suppose to clamp onto your head so that there is a bit of pressure against the outer rim of the ear?

Second concern is, I move around a bit while I wear my headphones around my desk. Everytime I move, I hear the headband making noise like when you kind of push them together you get that rubbing leather sound.

What can I do to get a bit more pressure on the headphones because after I push them together they sound a bit better.

i am suprised that you do ask for tighter, as most users complain that they are TOO TIGHT.

bend the headband. just a little bit in.

they will crush your ears that way though.

From what I've read you can easily bend the Grado headband to your needs. I would expect its easy enough to form it to the shape of your head and get the amount of pressure you would like.
