Hi guys! Greetings!

I'm very new on the forum, (Actually I was told to come over here for some advices), and I have a doubt about getting some great headphones.

I've been looking for some great headphones, mainly to listen music like Rock/Indie/Metal, and I was told to close my eyes and get Grado SR60i/e... Then I realized that Razer Kraken are cheaper, some people told me that has equally excellent sound and are designed for gaming, that I love to do too.

My budget is 60-70 USD. And, now that I think of, I also want it with micro. So... What would you guys recommend me? I'm open to any brands/models/styles. Just one important thing: Comfort for long listenings. (Planned to be used on desktop/laptop). If you need any other info, please let me know.

Thanks for reading!

Also. What's the difference between Grado sr60i and sr60e?

The 60 is a great can for rock and electric blues--and it produces great sound relative to its price.  However, a significant number consider it to be uncomfortable.  Headphone comfort is a very individual thing.  Everyone has a different head size and shape, as well as different sensitivities and levels of sensitivity.  We can point you to headphones that are generally considered to be comfortable and mention others that have garnered complaints for being uncomfortable.  However, the only way to know for sure is to wear them yourself for a time equivalent to your longest listening session.

The "e" version of all Grados is still very new.  Information is still coming in about their sound and how each model differs from its "i" or "is" predecessor.  There are threads here devoted to these questions.  Early informal reviews seem to indicate that the 60e has more bass presence and is less bright than the 60i.

The bass is definitely improved in the 60e. It's the one thing I felt was lacking in the i. It's still not overwhelming and that's a big plus. If anything, I'd say it's now "just right". I suppose it's still quite bright in the highs, but that never bothered me to begin with.
