Hi

Recently I bought myself a Cowon V5, which has a digital out. Well the problem is that, when plugged in my D10, there is a strange hiss every 4-5 seconds. It is freaking me out. I do not know what to do.

I tried my D10 with another spdif out and it worked out well. So everything should be right with the D10.

Do somebody know what this could be?

Well, yesterday I tried it out again, but it was dead then, no signal at all. I do not know, maybe the V5 is faulty.

Forget about it

I've got exactly the same problem with my V5 plugged into the iBasso D10 using the spdif connector. Let's hope Cowon can fix this problem in a future firmware update?

Oh happyness, it is working again. A new Firmware is out. 1.09 fixed it and some other bugs.

supposedly the 1.14 fixes the spdif issue, but i wouldn't upgrade to it... laggy as hell i'm gonna go back to 1.13 (don't need the digital out for me)
i'm gonna run the rca out from v5 to an amp directly
