Im a newb here so hello to all is the first thing to get out of the way...

and second is a question I had... I wanted a cheap set of decent quality headphones for around the house, gym when i feel like lookin silly, and just to lug around and not worry about...  I head solo tracks and figured the track hd wouldnt be a bad choice at $109....

Well I grabbed them and the volume level was extremely low on my iphone, which for this set would be the source... an amp was not an option as this sets function was to have a cheaper quick decent sounding set thats easy to use and not go overly crazy trying to keep out of harms way...

At max volume the sound was much lower than i expected... is this something that is normal for these phones?  I havent seen anything to back this...  maybe i got a bad set.  But i returned them and are picking up a set of audiotechnica m50's ... which i have seen good reviews for but are bigger than and prob less durable than the tracks i started with...

Should I try another set or are the tracks known for low volume ?

Thanks!
