We all know the long standing tube vs solid state debate.
And some of us (including me) have hybrid systems that use a little of each.
But do you have the optimal mix of tubes and solid state to reach sonic nirvana?
Wonder no more!
Originally designed for instrument and microphone use, the United Audio 710 includes a knob to adjust how much tube vs solid state is in the circuit, as well as gain and output.
The include XLR line in and line out, but they're mono so you'll need two for stereo:
And they have VU meters.
So imagine, you can perfectly determine the perfect blend of SS vs tube for every single piece of music you own, dialing the knobs until you get it tweaked just right for every track you ever play.
(Full disclosure, I own 1, not 2, and use it for my bass guitar).
