the headwize article shows how to add a 2nd output stage to the "Dynalow" diff VAS for a fully differential amp

then ideally you'd want to drive the low impedance of the feedback resistors with a balanced source - you'd need to add buffers to be able to use a (4-gang) vol pot unless you had a buffered output from a preamp or DAC to control the volume

actually dual buffers/balanced input wouldn't be strictly necessary as the fully differential amp gives balanced output with a 1x input signal common mode component with only one side driven

the Dynamid/might are "dual mono" and have high Z inputs that can connect directly to a vol pot

You have mainly low impedance phones. Have you considered Rudistor amps?

I adore the Graham Slee Solo (on waiting list for the SRG) but I like
alot of low/mid-bass slam and the Solo just didn't do it for my Ultrasones
(650, 750 and Edition 9's). Having said that I've yet to hear a head amp
that sounds as musical/magical in the mids and treble range as the Solo.

I ownded a Rudistor NX-02 for around a year. It drives low impedance
cans very very well. I'm assuming the current model NX-03 will be very
similar in sound. I preferred the NX-02 over the Solo purely because of
the bass impact it delivered. I must say that the Solo was more 'musical'
sounding overall though.

The NX-02 has been discontinued but they do pop up in the FS forums
as do the NX-03's. The Rudistor RPX-33 is at another level entirely but
costs quite a bit more. ($1000? used - correct me if I'm wrong)

Take your time...I wish you luck
