Hey guys I am looking for a headphone amp around the £150 mark (something easily purchasable from the UK) that has a 1/4" headphone out.  Currently I have my headphones with a Emotiva ego dac/amp and whilst the headphone amp part is powerful enough, the use of digital volume only means that the volume is either too loud or just too  quiet and nothing in between so I want an amp in part to have greater control of the volume to my headphones (fidelio x2s).  In mind I have had the K5 and the Schiit Magni but was wondering/hoping if there were any others that maybe I have not heard of that would be worth considering

As your 30-Ohm Philips Fidelio X2 should easily been driven by the Magni, can't see a need to buy a more powerful headphone amplifier.
Source > Emotiva Ego (line-output) > Magni > Fidelio X2.
