Any fellow members know of a solid-state (non-HD) DAP that supports FLAC? I've had some bad experiences with HD-based DAPs is the past so I'm opting to avoid them if possible.

The Cowon D2, first that comes to mind, supports besides MP3 also OGG, WMA, FLAC, WAV and APE ...

The cowon iAudio U3 is flash based and supports flac. Right now listening to Kate Bush "Sensual World" ripped as flac via the U3 and Senn PMX 200's... sounds good...

Another vote for the Cowon products. There a few a different solid state Cowon DAPs that support FLAC so it all boils down to what form factor you like. You can check them all out here.
