Whilst I liked the sound especially the crystal clearness of the midrange and highs I felt they lacked soundstage and bass.
What would be a good upgrade that I can perhaps still get near that midrange and highs but have better bass and soundstage for gaming and films and rock like floyd zepplin metal sabbath maiden etc.
No headphone amp at the moment but may consider getting one in the future dont understand why they are so expensive though as I can get a quality full sized amp for those prices ?
I have £140 to spend.
Contemplating over the following phones at the moment
goldring dr150
sennheiser hd 555
sennheiser hd 595
Sennheiser hd 600
Beyer Dynamic dt990 pro
