Apart from the difference in size, is soundstage less in the new version? Are these IEMs good for Heavy Metal music?
Solaris gold and 2020, any difference in the sound department?

Theres been extensive talk about this in the official Solaris thread. Might be worth using the search function in there to see if that turns anything up. From my reading around it, I believe that the 2020 exhibits a slightly more 'V' shape in its tuning meaning more of a spike in its treble and more prominent bass overall. This would probably equate to it being more effective for metal music.
