I think the Sol republics are very dark and muddy and bassy. V-Moda M80's can be had for $130-$140

I heard that the CAL!s are also a headphone to consider.

For $100, you can get the Noontec Zoro HD instead of the regular Noontec Zoro. I have them. Good phones. Steve Guttenberg of CNET felt the HDs are a good improvement over the regular ones: http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/noontec-zoro-hd-true/4505-7877_7-35755682.html

In the $100 budget range, I also recommend looking into the JVC HA-S500.

Ok I don't think I'll get the JVC's because of the Y shape cored and they are not very sylish. I am leaning towards the zoro hd because of straight cored and syle.

Also has anyone seen and listened to the rythmz pro hd they seen pretty similar to the zoro for half the price but there are no reviews on them anywhere.
