Hi everyone,
Just came across this vst plug in of a tube preamp. Apparently this one was developed as a master thesis and it is a very mathematically sound model of a tube amp.
I'm generally very reluctant to put any digital processing into my foobar output (to b&w p7 via oppo ha2se) but this software amp is astounding. It really adds warmth and layers without over bloating and overshadowing other frequencies.
Amazing and truly worth checking out. Oh yea, it's free.
