Anyone know of any stores in orange county, ca area that carries beyers/akg's? I just cancled my DT990 order because they weren't able to ship for another month or so but I need to satisfy my itch now.

i think the guitar center in fountain valley has a pretty decent variety of stuff.

The Brea Guitar Center carries Beyers and AKG, but they don't stock the higher end models. I've seen the DT770 and K240s there, don't remember seeing the DT990. It's too bad the SoCal meet already passed. There were plenty of Beyers and AKG's to audition there, including the DT990, DT880, K501, and K340. Meets are really the only way to audition those cans that I can think of, unless you contact the owners of those phones directly to arrange a listening session.
