Happy 4th! I finally got around to sorting through my photos.
@Sebastien Chiu hope things are okay on your end with family! Sad you couldn't make it, but that's way more important. Thank you Effect Audio for sponsoring the event nonetheless. And thank you to everyone who brought snacks. There was way too much food, haha.
Thank you
@Hiyono for organizing the meetup at your friend's card shop! It's a great venue for meetings like this, and the A/C was certainly appreciated given the weather + tube amps at the event. As an AAMML member, I thought the shop was aptly decorated!

^ I typically I don't like Audio Technica's house sound, but this one sounded different. It was still midrange focused, but the ATH-W3000ANV was quite warm instead of the usual bright sound, and the treble was pretty forgiving. It paired really well with anisong tracks, which is what I'm guessing it was tuned more towards.

^ I think the Dave/Liquid Glass were my favorite pairing for the Immanis. I heard the Immanis at CanJam NYC earlier this year and I thought it sounded quite bright and shrill out of the setup Danny had. At this meet, on the RME and Envy, I still found the Immanis to be pretty bright; less so than at CanJam NYC, but still way too bright for my preferences. The Dave and Liquid Glass tamed that brightness way down and I found the headphone much more listenable.

^ The Magna on the other hand seems to be tuned less bright overall, and I haven't really minded its sound on any setup I've heard it on. It definitely doesn't have the same fidelity and detail of the Immanis, but I prefer its overall tonal balance on more of the setups.
Thank you
@Netforce for bringing the Composer and the new Focal headphones!

^ I'm a big fan of the Azurys's sound with the FiiO BTR15. Not so much of the Hadenys, even through the Convert-2/Phonitor XE. Similar to the Immanis and Magna, I find the Hadenys to be a bit too bright for my preferences, whereas the Azurys is more listenable and I don't mind the loss of fidelity for the more listenable frequency response.

^ I liked the Composer when I've heard it at previous CanJam events, and I liked it even more out of the Convert-2/Phonitor XE. It's very much like a classic, but refined, AKG K-series sound (K812), which I did like. The low-end had more impact out of this setup than in other setups I heard it with.

@Insidious Meme I'm more of a HD600 person myself, but the HD650 sounded pretty transparent through this amp. I had to crank up the volume knob pretty high (2 o'clock in the photo) for most of the music I listened to in the setup.

^ The Susvara on the May/WA23 Luna setup was sublime! I heard the Susvara Unveiled at T.H.E. Show last month with the EF1000 and I prefer the sound of this Susvara setup over that one. The smoothness and transparency of this setup can't compare to what I heard out of the Unveiled with EF1000. I think the Unveiled had better instrument separation compared to this setup overall, but this was definitely more of an enjoyable listen.

^ I didn't hear the D8000 Pro Limited Edition out of that amp, but I liked what I heard from the Zahl HM1. I don't know too much about the D8000 Pro, but its sound signature sounded like what I would use as a reference, and it passed all of my test track selections.
Other miscellaneous photos from the meet:
Super fun meet overall. I hope there's more meetups like this in the future as I've been mostly out of the hobby the past few years, and it's great to catch up with people and gear.
