10. Expensive Headphones

You don't need studio-quality headphones unless you're a record producer, and online reviews of expensive headphones have shown that a lot of people can't tell a lot of difference between a $50 pair and a $200 pair. I own a pair of headphones that I use at work that cost less than $30, and have done an excellent job of blocking out noise when I'm trying to focus.

And this is what He told folks to buy:

So...Whatcha think?

Slap chop and headphones in the same Top 10?

Merely a singular biased (Beats as the visual) opinion of a person who doesn't particularly care for headphones. He could rename the article "Mediocrity: Why Pay More?" and put things like cars on there advocating all people drive Ford Fiestas unless they're race car drivers. Waste of internets.

@Mike Dang: Source? What methods were employed to have come to that conclusion? Let me guess... if $50 cans have rave reviews, and so does the $200 cans, therefore people can't tell the difference

If music is just background, subconscious music to you or you just want something that'll deliver sound, then by all means go with cheaper headphones. The details and sound signature wouldn't be all that important to these consumers. Then there are the consumers who do care.

Probably because a pair of Beats headphones' most technically notable feature is how much it costs.

Actually, the part about cameras is good, if you only need a camof the timeera for souvenirs, phone cameras are getting better everyday and the quality should be enough to ger you by 95%. If you need quality pictures, you'd better directly buy a large sensor camera, something like a Sony NEX or a DSLR.
