I'd be surprised if they start by X-mas.
I wouldn't be surprised if they can the whole year.
This will kill hockey as we know it.

Yeah, I think those are goners. Messier too, hopefully. I'm just glad my team has some good youth getting experience in the AHL together this year. Bridgeport is looking pretty good right about now.

You guys are all welcome to watch my son play for the white panthers at Incredible Ice (practice facility for the Panthers). Nothing like it.

He loves to check. I wish he would spend less time checking and more time crashing the net. This is the second season of checking and it has really changed the game for the better. Anyway, didn't mean to steal your thread but it looks like it's the only hockey I am going to see this year.

What do you mean you wish he spent less time checking????? Denis potvin, scott stevens, larry robinson they all made careers out of how to check and they scored goals. Remember larry robinsons "the hit", That was one of the best next to scott stevens hit on eric lindros, ron francis, keith primeau. Don't worry about stealing my thread at least you get to watch your son play. I have to make do playing NHL 2004 on the PC only I can't because I have lost the discs!!!!!!

Denis Potvin, you want to make me puk. Remember I am a Ranger fan (and part time Panther fan). I spent too many playoffs watching the Islanders knock the Rangers out. We hated Potvin and the rest of them.

How can u hate trottier, gillies, and the lengendary No 22 Miiiiiiikkkkkkkeeee Bosssssssssssy. And let's not forget when you managed to dump them out of the 79 playoffs only to waste your chance and give the habs the drive for five. And didn't you have trottier manage part of the rangers season as well. Rangers fans are all the same. Redwings fans just hate everyone!!!!!!!

AH...memories.

The most determined, hardest working, never say die, grateful to bleed profusely, do absolutely anything to win, unstoppable player I've ever seen in any sport (and a diabetic to boot).
The league's most valuable player three times, 1973, 1975, and 1976.

HAIL DEMON CLARKE!!!

The captain holds The Stanley Cup, the world's greatest trophy, all other trophies being uninspiring, pitiful, delicate, disposable trinkets!

No 16 of the broad street bullies. I told you I was a hockey geek. It's the one thing, the only thing I love more than headphones and music. Bernie parent, Billy Barber. Old skool baby. When they shut down No 4 for boston in his own end pure hockey genius. After the fighting was done, they were their to win the cup. Bring back the old skooooooool dayz.

You're killing me. I thought I had blocked those names from my memory. It's less painful to read a Singlepower/Ray Samuels thread, if you can believe it.
