Like almost a year ago when it first came out, love the headphones but I didn't use them that much because they were too big....V-Moda M100 didn't come out at the time, so I didn't get that...and it's 100 dollars more...
But now I regret a little for buying COPs...my friend has M100s, they are so compact and good looking lol. COPs look like a giant.
So, did I make the wrong choice? I never bring my full-size headphones when I go out, but if I want to, COPs are too big.

You are clearly suffering from the Jones syndrome.

Your only mending will come from selling the COP's and buying the Vmoda M100's you are clearly lusting for.

Since the M100 wasn't out when the COP landed, how could you have known?

Regardless though (and on a more serious note), if the COP sounds good to you, then who cares how it `looks' if it fits well and sounds good. Are you that worried that you're not the coolest looking person wearing headphones on the street?

Very best,

I'm with Mal on this one. It sounds like you're already partially convinced you want/need the M-100. So your best bet would be to save a bit, sell the COP and buy the M-100. If you like the sound of the COP and the comfort is there then you didn't make the wrong choice as the M-100 wasn't out. But new things come out every year. My Q701 had two "upgrades" come out in the past year; The K702 Anniversary and the K712. It's not crazy to want the latest and greatest, most of us get hit with the upgrade bug around here. But if you're really wanting to go after the M-100, find a way to make it possible. Is a smaller sized headphone worth $100+ to you? If it is, go for it.

Did you listen and compare sound between your COP's and your friends m 100's ?, cause if you like the sound better on your COP's thats what matters. I rock my DT 770's in public :).
