So since I'm new to game of audiophile music listening, I was wondering what programs should I use to listen to music, and what ways do I use to get high quality music on my computer?

Download Foobar2000. You'll want your music in the FLAC, APE, or whatever other lossless format your music is available in.

You can also look into an external USB DAC, those tend to be less "noisy" than the typical sound card since they are away from other components.

Check out the "Open Your Ears" album.  We head-fi members get it for 8.99.

All their music is FLAC, assuming you chose it.

They also have a sample FLAC album you can download and check out the quality.
