i just realized. my car's sound system sounds a lot better than my K81DJ

it might not be a surprise for some, but it is for me... i thought a stock sound system would be crappy

If the sound system is something fancy (Alpine, Monsoon, Bose, etc.), odds are you'll see a logo indicating the manufacturer on the stock head unit.

What kind of car do you have?

edit: unless you got it used, then it might be hard to find out unless the above poster's method works
