[Flex2d]

hello,
 
I have a Little Dot Mk2 and bought the Sanskrit DAC to try and make the sound cleaner but when i turn the LD mk2 right up i can hear crackles and a hum. When i run the LD mk2 from the pc directly there is nothing, no hum or crakles...
 
I am running the Sanskrit on optical so was thinking this should get rid of anything like this..
 
Would this be a faulty DAC?
 
Thoughts on this would be great..
